on Innovation – Education – Sport
On behalf of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), I express our gratitude to all the participants and guests of the FISU World Conference on Innovation – Education – Sport, held March 5-7, 2019 in Krasnoyarsk.
For many years, FISU has been holding research and training conferences as part of the Universiades, drawing leading specialists in sports science and industry. Innovations are one of the main priorities on FISU's educational agenda aimed at making sport an integral part of education and culture for a maximum number of students around the globe. Hosting such events as the FISU World Conference is an opportunity to discuss the most urgent issues on the development of university sport in the world and find solutions enabling FISU to accomplish its mission on raising tomorrow's leaders through sport. We hope to meet you at the future FISU events!
President of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) Oleg Matytsin
On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 29th Winter Universiade Krasnoyarsk 2019, I would like to thank each participant and guest of the FISU World Conference on Innovation – Education – Sport for the interest in this unique scientific event, as well as the International University Sports Federation for the support and efficient cooperation. The Conference involved a vast number of talented researchers studying modern sports technologies, a vast number of young initiative people deeply caring for the development of the international sports movement. I am confident that the best practices of the conference participants will form a basis for the sustainable development of winter sports and creation of new projects. Holding of such a large-scale scientific event in Krasnoyarsk will create a momentum for enhancement of scientific and educational spheres of the city and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, gaining visibility of Krasnoyarsk as a modern megapolis where it is comfortable to live, to do sports and business.
I’m thankful to each participant for the fruitful work! I wish you success in scientific and sports activities, interesting ideas and opportunities for their implementation!
